The Kingdom of the Snow Leopard

The Kingdom of the Snow Leopard is an imaginary kingdom but it was based on a real country. It is Bhutan. I searched the Internet for Bhutan for group discussion. So let me talk about it a little firstly. Bhutan on a highland in Asia. So the name Bhutan comes from ブーウッタン in Sanskrit, which means high lands in English. people in Bhutan use Dzongkha. It’s a language which use such as  འབྲུགཡུལ་་. If I tried to study it, I wouldn’t master it at all. People in Bhutan often use chilli peppers. The traditional sport is archery. these characters were reflected to The Kingdom of the Snow Leopard in the story. It was interesting.

Tom and Mahir are friends. Mahir comes from The Kingdom of the Snow Leopard. One day Mahir takes him to the kingdom. Tom find a lot of what he doesn’t know. The Kingdom is different from his world. Actually Mahir come home for the competition of the kingdom…

After I finished reading the book, I wanted to make friends from a foreign country, and I ask him to take his country. It would be a great time.

The Black Pearls

This book is very short, but I have many things to feel because I sheared my idea with 3 people.

Before I wrote about it, I will explain the story simply. Hunter is a inspector and goes to Rarotonga because she heard the rumor that Peters who is a famous theft is coming there and planning to steal a expensive necklace in the museum. At the same time, Kate and Gomez, a famous actress comes there to shoot a movie… Can Hunter catch Peters?

It was easy to read a book and understand the story, but  I have many things to talk with the 3  friends. Yasushi was a summarizer. He made the story more clear. Hirokazu told us many words we didn’t know. Surprisingly he looked for words by using 5 dictionaries. He did a nice work. Koyo told us that the author of The Black Pearls also wrote the series of Lorgan. It made me surprise, however, after a while I was convinced that. I was happy to see the author I knew again.
