Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde

“Dr jekyll  and Mr Hyde” is a famous book, but I knew only the title. So I read the book. The story was so interesting, however it was too scaring to me. The genre of the book is a mystery. Jekyll is a very good man. In contrast Hyde is a murder: he is a bad man. Surprisingly they are the same person. It means the theme of this story is a split personality in fact. I was astonished and regretted reading this book because I played a video game that includes such a story these days and was frightened so much. Many scenes from the video game were too horrible to me. I could not get them out from my head. Then I met the book “Dr jekyll and Mr Hyde”! It was so unlucky. But story was so interesting. I recommend it to you unless you are a timid person.

David Copperfield

“David Copperfield” ends happily, but many unhappy things happened in this story. This is a story of a life of the hero, David: from his birth to his becoming a writer and getting married to grab happiness is written in the book.

There are many different spans of stories, for example just an event of a day, a few days to find a murder, a love story for a year, a high school life for three years and so on. One person’s life is written in “David copperfields”. So it was so deep a story to make me think a lot of things. It reminded me a saying ” Life has its ups and downs”. Even if sad or bad things come to us, we must keep going forward. If so, we may grab happiness like David. Good luck!
